Things are busy busy. I am singing in the Spiral Choir at the Spiral Dance this year, woot! Loving it, but it's taking up a lot of my time, with practices and such.
I also initiated into the Sha'can tradition earlier this month, (FYI http://www.maabatakali.org/shacan/) and lots of changing are going on in my personal life...so far all good, just alot!
Our mabon was quiet and peaceful...a walk by the bay to collect nature bits, and then kids and I made a wreath, and set the altar, followed by a yummy dinner.

At 5:59pm on July 5, 2008, Allie said…: Greetings, Rose! Hope your July 4 weekend is going well. Wayne & I ventured above Nevada City yesterday. We were checking out a creek area where we had not been and heard it was really a nice area. As we drove down the very small dirt road, Wayne yelled - Bear! Sure enough - as I peered out of the windshield, there was a small bear looking down at us through the trees. He was about 90 lbs.
