Do you really need an explanation? Depending on your personality and desires for what the answer should be for your own comfort, it could be a spiritual guide, a subconscious habit, a general wake-up call from the universe or indigestion. :)

- Explain your path.
- I've said for years, I am a kitchen witch. What I really am is simply a woman who believes in Her. I seem to dabble in a lot of paths, never being proficient at anything, knowing but bits and pieces. Yet I've had strange experiences that knowledge and education cannot explain.
- Do you have family or familiars?
- Human family yes, husband, 3 adult children, my only son loves the Goddess, and thanks me for Her. My cat and I have a good relationship. She was feral and adopted me. But I've never thought of her as a familiar, just as a very good friend. I do have a spirit guide named Paul who has been with me for all my life.
- What is your favorite saying?
- Well, I'm sitting here wracking my brain and nothing is coming to mind. I'm certain if I asked my family they could tell me but no one is home. So.... "I'll figure it out". Bright Blessings

- Wow! Thanks for all of the advice Poppy.
I am sad to hear about your daughter. I too was a problem child to my mother Gail. I had a terrible time with addictions and anger problems. I also had a problem with blaming my Mama for all of my woes. When I finally had the opportunity to get clean & sober, I realized that blaming others my entire life was just an excuse for me to continue on with my self hatred. I have been clean now 8+ yrs, and completely changed my life. I am so thankful that I saw the light and was able to pull out of my misery.
Now my daughter blames me for all of the woes... I just talk to the godess everyday and wish for her to wrap her energy around my daughter. All I can really do is be here for her when she realizes she needs her Mama.
Yes, I love the Scott cunningham book. It has by far been the most help to me.
I am pretty new at all of this but am enjoying it emencely. I wish I would have discovered it all long ago!

The reason I thought you were someone I knew long ago...
I had a friend named Echo when I was a small girl. She had a younger sister named Poppy and their last name was Miller. Their father's name was Paul. Coincedence I guess, but I thought I had better ask!
