Explain your path.

I love Earth Magic! Herbs, plants, flowers, earth, air, fire & water. I am just now realizing that this has been a part of me my whole life. I have always been very intuitive and psychic, and always follow my heart when it comes to this sense. I am a woman who friends & family always come to when they need help with an illness or a problem. I love Mother Nature and she is my Godess. I really have no particular sect or religion that I strictly follow. I have recently been reading a lot about Wicca and find it very true and nurturing to one's soul. I also strongly believe in Native American beliefs and culture as I am a member of the Snohomish Tribe of Indians.

Do you have family or familiars?

I have2 beautiful children! My daughter is 17 & my son just turned 4. I am married to a wonderful man named Jesse. We just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. He takes care of me and my children and that is what I love so much. He works very hard so I can stay at home with our son.
I also have a wonderful 13lb cat who is my familiar. He is pure black with yellow eyes and the most loveable thing you will meet! Besides our cat we also have a Jack Russell puppy named Poppi, and 6 fish. i love animals and connect with them all so well. Sometimes I think I would rather live on a mountain top with wild animals instead of all the craziness in the modern world today. That is my dream, to be in peace with Mother Nature & her Animals.

Don't worry, everything is going to be alright....
If women were in charge of the world there would be Peace & Beauty Always!

Autumn brings forth new emotions and feelings

Blessings to all of my sisters and kin~

I haven't been on for sometime now, and thought I would let you all know how I am holding-up. Life is good! I so look forward to Autumn and all of the wonders she brings forth. It is my favorite season of the year. It always seems to fill me with such an energy and feeling of well being and family. Love It!

New Book...

Hello Everyone,
I purchased a new book today and was wondering if any of you have read or heard about it, what your thoughts are, did you like it? Was it helpful?

"WICCA A guide for the solitary practitioner", by Scott Cunningham, Includes Author's Book of Shadows... I also have another book by him titled "Earth, Air, Fire & Water" which I really enjoy.

First Day Of SUMMER!

Hello Everyone & Happy Summer!

I just wanted to say thanks to all who have added me as their friend and responded to my questions and posts. I really appreciate everyone here and am so excited to get going with my studies.

The weather is turning here in Vallejo - it's been chilly lately, but at least the sun has been shining almost every day. Today has been overcast all day, and now it's beginning to get windy. There was a beautiful, but dark and spooky sunset this evening - made me very glad I was watching it from the inside! The weather prediction is for rain through the weekend. We had a long, dry summer and fall, so rain is most welcome... the only thing I don't like is that rain keeps me from working in the garden. But it also means I can spend more time with my indoor plants, as well as having more sewing and quilting time. I picked some of the last of my tomatoes today - some weren't ripe, but I wanted to get them off the vines because I'm sure any remaining on the vines won't survive the upcoming rain. I grew some new varieties of Heirloom tomatoes this year - I like to experiment with different ones each year - and I'm going to miss them until they return next summer. Fortunately, there's a wonderful farmers' market in town, and I can get pretty decent tomatoes all winter long from some of the Central Valley farmers. I planted some beans and two kinds of squash last month, so, hopefully, we'll be enjoying them soon. I'm going to replant some of my herbs next week as I pretty much depleted them recently. Do you do anything with herbs? All I've ever done is cook with them, but I'd like to try drying some this winter, and also want to do some reading about healing with herbs. I guess this rainy weekend would be the perfect time to curl up in front of the fireplace and get started with the reading!

I loved looking at your photos - Washington is so awesomely beautiful. We visited when I was a child, and couldn't understand why the rest of the family didn't want to just pick up and move there! I, too, love Mother Earth and all of her wonders, especially her creatures. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't garden, tend the local wildlife, and sit in the evening and watch the sun set over San Francisco Bay! I worked hard all of my life, and am now enjoying the reward of retirement. My husband retired last year and we are moving at a snail's pace together!

Hello Heidi,

How have you been? I hope all is well with you and your family. How is your daughter doing? I have been going non-stop with school and work. I have 14 hr. days, 5 days a week, bearly get a recoup day and start all over again. I am almost at the finish line, I graduate in May and I am going to take a well deserved break!
