Allie said… - Yes, N. California is a very special place for me. I feel that I was able to find my nitch, so to speak, much sooner here than anywhere else. I am about an hour from the mountains, and two hours from the coast. There seems to be so much nature activities here... hiking, camping, and just getting close to Mother Earth... *smile*
Thank you for the kind words about my garden. When I first moved in, I tried putting in grass in the backyard... After 5 unsuccessful attempts at a lawn, I just started planting herbs and vines... I have two very large trees, and I think this is why I could not grow a lawn successfully. After ten years, I do love how it has turned out... *smile*

- Dear Dragonfly, Good for you! I am happy for you to be paying attention to yourself. Such a good habit to build. Keep up the good work. As for me, I am a poet, a writer, a photographer and occasionally a collage artist--I collage electric light switch plates and sell them at fairs sometimes. I also do shows for our local cable channel on ocasion. Luckily for me I don't have children to take are of as mine are all grown. I do have a hsuband and we spend quite a bit of time together also. How about you?

- Dear Dragonfly, Being an artist means being aware of your need to practice your art. Self esteem is a part of his, however, learning to love yourself is a lifelong task and an important one. Start by setting side 15 minutes a day to practice your art--even if it's on the potty or just before you go to bed. Time and place do not matter, regular committment do! Try it for a week. Then see how you feel and writ me and tell me? I also recommnd a ook called The Artist's Way. You can get second hand copies cheap. Check it out. Blessed Be and Love, Tasha

- Being an artist is a full time occupation because when you truly apply yourself everything becomes part of the art you will express. So You Go Girl! and let your art soar. The only thing that probably holds you back is self consciusness or worrying you'r worn't be good enough. Well I have news for you, It will be wonderful because you are eltting your wings unfold! Mary said… - I've never been to a Wiccan book store. I have lived in this area for 9 years and I avoid Memphis as much as possible. I order all my book, herbs, oils, etc. online. I love being a Solitary because I feel free to answer the Goddess' call in my own rituals with my family, but I do lean heavily to the Dianic traditions. It just feels more natural to me because I feel the The Divine Spirit as a loving Mother only.

- I am a solitary practionioner...ecclectic at heart. Too mired in the mundane, trying to free my entrenched witch within....Seeker of all things magickal and mystical, especially herbcraft and healing.

- Both, 3 human children and 3 animal companions, an aging husky named Neelix, a phat tabbycat sistagirl named KitKat and a pirhana critter named Larry. Also two little grand daughters one 9 years and one is 3 months old.

- "When I quit leaving, Ill be gone" is my favorite quote right now.
